The Hotel Residence Julia is located in the bay of Manacora, which contains one of the most beautiful beaches of the coast that goes from Peschici to Vieste, in the Gargano National Park, in the north of Puglia region.
Completely sandy, set between 2 ridges of rock, near the beach of Manacora is located an archaeological site, “the Grottone”, dating back to the Bronze Age.
The nearest village is Peschici, 6 km away, with a delightful old town with an astonishing castle overlooking the sea.
At about 20 km to the south we find Vieste, also rich in beaches and characteristic shops, while in the Vico del Gargano rises, one of the most characteristic villages of the territory.
The best are: coast beautiful beaches alternate with calcareous ridges carved by the wind and the sea, which often hide spectacular natural cavities, the sea caves, visited with organized tours.
The Gargano is also a land of faith: Monte Sant’Angelo, a beautiful medieval village with the sanctuary of San Michele Arcangelo and San Giovanni Rotondo, a city linked to the figure of San Pio da Pietralcina.
Inland you will appreciate the spectacular Umbra forest, one of the most beautiful forests in the world.
The Gargano, with limestone rocks, wild orchids, millenarian olive groves, is considered an oasis of biodiversity waiting to be discovered and rediscovered in all its aspects.
